attended my cousin's wedding on friday.. it was very different from the other chinese weddings that i've attended.. the wedding was held at laguna country club and it was special as we get to witness the exchange of rings and the newly wed were brought in on a buggy..
and while waiting for the arrival of the couple.. here's a classic picture to share...
they put the cousins of same generations together.. and it's really nice to be close to your relatives.. somehow things changed ever since the death of my grandma.. it's a pity it takes such happening to bring the family close together..my brother having his first ever brandy coke..my cousin, niece and nephew..

i wonder wad's in the genes of the LEE family that made these guys grow upwards.. and the one on the far left is only 13..
with hunks around, how can u forget the babes?? haha..
that's my beloved cousin who never fails to give tender loving care...
my youngest aunt.. used to be a crew as well..
ppl always mistake him for my bf.. well, i wun blame them.. haha..

it was a great night out.. being with your family members.. if only dad was here to share the joy and company with us.. miss him so..

and yesterday was our cousin outing.. went to karaoke.. and believe me, we sang from 7pm till 5.30am.. haha.. really nice to sing duet songs together.. high together.. emo together.. laugh together.. break voice together.. saw the other side of tat rui.. and really surprise me cos he's always quiet and always sits at a corner.. but it's a good sign of course...
look at us.. still looking fresh at 5.30am in the morning.. haha.. and u know wad.. it was not enough... haha..

and i went out with my sister to look for furnitures today.. found nothing at millenia walk so went to courts and ikea at tampines.. bought 2 closet, a bed frame, a table top, a drawer.. and all we have left is a sofa bed.. we've decided to change the outlook of our room, and it's at our own expenses of course.. but it's good to have a change.. looking forward to my new room.. although we were rather quiet the whole day.. i was enjoying the companionship of her shopping for things with me.. asking me for opinion.. and just looking at her from the back can bring a smile to my face..

received a msg from my dad when i was eating at ikea just now.. asking about the family, and asking if i'm in singapore.. then i told him i was with my sister and our plans to change the outlook of my room.. and guess wad he replied.. "... i understand that u all have my character. never speak up but care for each other. i love all of you but poor in presentation.. " my heart melts upon reading it.. my dad is one traditional dad who has never said "i love u" to us before.. never expressing himself well enough.. but he just did.. first time he mentioned the words "i love you".. i really feel loved..

can't wait till the day he comes back from indonesia.. the power of kinship. treasure.
