on the last day of 2008.. on the last wednesday of 2008... i'll like to dedicate this post to my dear...

my blog entry has been delayed for quite a while... due to the packed schedule of exams, work and holiday....

and this post will probably be the last of 2008...

glad that i manage to sing karaoke for the last time this yr with audrey last sat... and met up with ailing and michelle on boxing day for dinner to catch up with each other...

however.. christmas was spent in melbourne.. alone in the room all day..

dear had to leave on christmas eve and go back to work...

but before that we went for the holiday that was planned a couple of months ago.. LOMBOK.. really pretty place.. less packed than bali.. but as nice i suppose... missed the relaxed life, the fresh air and the company so much..


was in nanjing before my holidays and i visited the ikea there...

of course... the ikea hotdogs...

and ice cream in winter gives a real different feel....

before that.. was all busy with exams and dear.. and work.. and out of all these, i managed to surprise audrey with my presence at the 903 gang k gathering cos i was suppose to be at home study for my exams which was 2 days later... and surprise tat with a birthday cake...

and before that, after many months.. i finally had a chance to do long flt... cos of my studies, always have to give them away.. and so, i was in narita and LA....

and in LA... most of us (10 out of 17) chiong after touch down and went straight for shopping... we missed the bus and had to wait for about 45mins for the next bus... in the meantime, i caught everyone's tired and shag face.. after the long flt and the time difference..

bought 2 big bottles of snapple at a cheap price and survived on them the whole day, studying for my exams while others were out shopping....

always a time for meals... so came out at night for dinner at cheesecake factory!!

2nd time at the cheesecake factory... first was with susanna (my cousin in SFO) and her family...

delicious and super filling meal... i can never seem to finish my pasta.. even after sharing some with the guys...

and there we are... back in japan, tokyo this time...

peak hour... the trains were so packed... only the 3 of us didn't manage to get on the train...

the supermarket selling chicken wings... which are real good!! and they actually had samples... i stood there... and took 2... the lady looked at me.. giving me the 'i dun think u'll buy' look... BUT, i bought 10 pcs okie!! hee...

only the two of us went to visit the tokyo tower...

how could i miss the green tea frap from starbucks in japan??

the aircraft was delayed for quite a while.. and vouchers were given to settle our dinner... and i got myself a sumptuous meal!!

met up with lipeng before my narita LA flt... super nice gal...

alex joined us and we went to far east, bought milk tea for emilyn and went to visit her at MM...

and before that, i was in taipei!! woohoo!! finally get to go to taipei!!

this taiwanese gal was suppose to have lunch with me after touchdown.. but after i'm all dressed she came knocking on my door, with a milk tea.. saying she's meeting her dad... so sweet of her... i mentioned about must-get milk tea in taiwan and she actually remembered... and went out to get the milk tea for me before meeting her dad....

rested a while and at night we went to shilin night market!!

if u're a close follower of my blog, u'll find this guy familiar... he's the one who caused my injuries in dubai last year....

had to finish up my project, thus spent the day in the room doing my work... went out to get a bento though... nice nice...

was suppose to join the guys at ximending at night... and i've already finished my work by evening time... but my work suddenly went missing... and i had no choice but to stay in my room still... to redo my work... was really damn frustrated with myself...

just when i was finishing my work.. the group of them bought mee sua back for me from ximending as my dinner... really nice of them... and they stayed on to chat till about 3am....

and the next morning... julia even went out to get breakfast for me from mos burger!! wad nice ppl...

will be having 2 countdown this year... one in air from hongkong to san francisco... and another one in san francisco due to the time difference... without dear by my side.. but will still try and make the best out of things...
