FINALLY!!! omg... this post will focus on my taiwan trip only.. cos there's just too many pics to upload and will take super long to load...

so... 1st oct marks the first day of my long leave for the taiwan trip with xiu... 1st pic of the 1400+++ over pics taken during the trip...

took a bus to tipei train station... and i'm so proud of myself for being streetsmart.. hehe..

journey to the train station.. woohoo...

buying a train ticket to hualien...

ate some stuff to fill my tummy abit before the train comes...

taking every chance and available time to do my assignment... even on the train to hualien...

yeah!!! we're here in hualien!!!

the owner of the home stay place we 'stayed in came to pick up in the bigger version of this volkswagen... damn cute...

and this is the legendary 面包车... the one that's used in 恶作剧之吻 1 & 2... cool...

secretly we crept into the volkswagen without ah cheng noticing.. hehe.. we din even dare to slam the door to get it shut properly...

but ah cheng still caught us in the end... but kindly took pics for us..

that's right.. and after a short stay at the homestay.. we set off for some sightseeing at hualien.. with our bags ready to leave for taipei after that...

first stop is the spectacular taroko... wonders of mother nature...

this laughing lion is interesting... they are all made of marbles and are rough... but many people have touched this lion's tummy until it became smooth...

and after a long train ride back to taipei.. we finally reach our hotel!!

3rd day... on the bus to yangming shan...

took the bus that tour around the mountain...

next stop.. dan shui!!

in the heat of the moment.. we decided to go for root reflexology..

and then a boat ride to fishermen's wharf..

the place is under renovation so we checked into this room that has a big bathtube that has spring water..
