HARD ROCK CAFE - 4TH MAY 07

it was our first official outing as a class/batch.. and i had lots of fun although my illness was a bit of a hindrance.. we also celebrated allison's birthday.. and it was a rather unique way of celebrating it.. she's a malaysian, and i certainly hope that we've made her feel welcomed.. somehow or another i feel that i have the obligation to take care of these malaysians from my batch.. i think it's just the motherly figure in me..

5th MAY 07.. SHOPPING WITH LIYAN DARLING

we went to TM for lunch, far east and wisma for shopping.. and then leg rest at breadtalk.. haha.. talked quite a bit.. and oh ya.. we went for an impromptu manicure.. haha.. i really like the feeling of hanging out with someone.. catching up on each other's life.. oh god.. i miss u gal!!

5th MAY 07 - OUTING WITH HTMIG SENIORS

i finally manage to meet up with all 3 of them.. it always short of one.. but it's really nice to know that everyone is doing well, and that i'm not alone afterall. to think about it, i still have friends who are willing to stand by me.. and i feel very fortunate..

we went to watch 200 pound beauty... i LOVE it.. cried.. and the guy is so attractive.. and the girl is so pretty.. and the voice.. my god.. powerful.. then it's dinner at pizza hut.. and then it's chill out by esplanade.. went to take the bump boat.. haha.. first time in singapore..

my friends said i have a standard pose when taking pictures.. my head will naturally tilt to one side.. haha.. well, that makes my face look slimmer mah.. and then we did an experiment and realise that.. hey, angle really makes a difference..

haha.. you see it? there.. then we went on to take the bump boat and then on to the v tea room and i feel like a tai tai.. hehe..

started training today.. a bit dry, but made many new friends and i'm definitely looking forward to the coming days of my career..

went k-ing yesterday.. got pang seh by A LOT of ppl.. wasn't too happy about it. but oh well, they are the one missing out on the fun.. we had fun, boon, sam, manda, angie, ryna and i..

there was a lot of planning needed for our performance for the farewell.. 6 of us are performing, but it seem as though only 3 or 4 are involved. it gets kinda irritating at times when they are hard to reach and all, but in the end it all boils down to one thing, it's for the farewell.

signed my contract with SIA yesterday.. i think my batch only has 13 ppl.. and there's this gal who self proclaim she's the youngest of all.. 19 this yr.. and looks a bit yaya.. heard she also mentioned the young age thing on the SIA forum.. wth..

went to take my measurement for my uniform today with vantana (my batchmate).. then it was lunch with her and her boyfriend.. funny and friendly guy.. haha.. and i think i just got myself another 2 matchmaker.. shit.. haha..

yesterday was kelly's belated birthday celebration cum steamboat party with the 8 cx interns.. love the feeling of having a gathering like that..

i'm having mixed feeling about different things now.. should i or should i not.. can i or can i not..

i'm back from trip to genting with the taiwan gang minus ailing.. there were high and low moments.. stoning moments and strategy planning moments.. haha. will talk about it when i post up my pics..

btw, to share a good news with everyone, i'll be pursuing my dream job, starting training on the 24th apr.. i was being asked by a lot of ppl when i'll be starting my training, and before i received the call from SQ i was not certain if i'm considered employed. then xian asked me when i start training on friday.. and just after the question, i received the call.. haha.. was so nervous and excited at the same time.. it's like less than 2 weeks later, i'll be starting my training.. woah..

i wanna really thank all that has been giving me moral support these few weeks, and i really appreciate you guys.. love ya..

went k with shiling and ryna today after work.. shiling was the singing partner.. and ryna was our audience.. haha..

singing with passion.. yap yap.. i had a great time.. singing our hearts out.. and all songs sang with lots of emotions.. haha..

those pictures were taken in august and september last year.. those were the days.. really brings back memories..

off for two days.. then it's back to work today..

went out for movie with the taiwan gang last night.. watched TMNT, and most of us, (except for the unsporting zifu) wore green.. haha..

the show was funny.. esp the subtitle was so off from wad was said.. and then we did another stupid thing..

yap.. it's the smaller version.. but it's quite cute right? haha..

mom is back.. it's hell again.. you can literally hear the screeching of iron scratching iron.. i.e. the irritating sound.. damn it..

saw my tag board.. thanks to those who are making it an active one.. appreciate all the concern from u guys..

my friend's friend died in a bike accident.. and she's still so young.. people should cherish their life and all, but somehow i am still unable to change my pessimistic thinking no matter how much i would like to..

when i was at home stoning, i think back to the times when i was a loner in school with no friends to depend on and to share things with.. now, i have ppl who care about me, question me about my life, my feelings, and recently i have been active in my social life.. i'm happy the way it is, and i'm happy to have ppl contacting me to meet up for meals or gatherings..

karin called me from australia just now.. i got a shock.. she called me to ask me about my SQ progress and she was so happy for me she cried.. i was really touched by wad she did.. i mean.. calling me from australia, screaming and shouting in joy for me.. that's really something..

i feel blessed.. really.. but the emptiness inside my heart will still need to be filled up by someone..

bombastic news.. one of my friend is getting married in october.. and she's 20 this yr.. and she's moving to australia.. wow.. envy..

then the other gals were saying, normally gals hook fish, she hooked a whale.. and then someone said, at least she's better than me, she got a fish, i dun even have a 'hei bi' (prawn paste).. haha.. that was funny.. but thanks ah.. shot me down like that..

mom followed sis to japan today.. freedom...

yesterday went to the temple after work.. and dad i think for the first time, took a public bus to the place alone, and we went back together by bus as well. since young, it was the first time my dad took a bus with me.. touched.. took time to come to the temple to listen to wad the priest had to say about my situation..

went home and stoned.. really stoned.. thinking about today's doctor appointment with a cardiologist at raffles hospital.. didn't really tell many ppl about it.. but those who did know about it, thanks for all ur support..

and so i went to see the cardiologist today with my dad.. also, it was the first time my dad brought me to see a doctor. result was..

you see the interruption in the reading?? that's the extra fast beat, before the drop beat. means skip a beat. but the doctor says that it's normal for ppl to have this case, and if i dun feel anything it wun affect my life much.. therefore, the conclusion is..
thanks once again to all who has shown ur concern regarding this matter..

went to nic's house for mahjong therapy with zifu and shao.. and then we kept setting the tiles asap and corner the slowest.. which was nic who was not concentrating.. and look wad happened..

watch how nic was cornered for the next 2 rounds..
and at last..
haha.. cornered till he has no space to put his tiles.. we many had fun and happy moments laughing at jokes, and talking about scandals.. haha.. i look forward to more of these kinda gathering..

somehow i'm still feeling abit down at the end of the day.. probably got affected by some ppl.. sigh.

got the call from the doctor while waiting for shao and zifu.. all was still not confirmed.. and i got to go for another test by a cardiologist and then get things sorted out.. well, at least it wasn't a flat no for me.

told my mom about it and she told me my dad had similar case in the past, and it might have been passed down from him.. oh well, i dun blame him but i'm still keeping myself positive.

and my mom is seriously not helping much. all she can think about is me not being worried over my job, my condition. hello, i'm the victim here. can someone take a bat or something and knock some sense out of her.. it's fine with me if she doesn't console me, but she had to rub salt onto my wound.

sad things aside, i went rollerblading with shao and zifu yesterday morning. it was a tiring exercise, especially when there was a side dish of laughing at the clowns falling. haha.. and shao kept playing matrix before he fall or to keep his balance.

after that we met up with the fateful couple and went k box.. sang really old school songs.. and enjoyed myself. at least it helps me to stop imagining things..

then shao, ailing and i went to have dinner.. and poor ailing had to bear with shao and i laming.. haha.. we were linking wadever that we can think of to song titles.. and some were really funny..

i really enjoyed the company.. and i wanna thank these group of friends that stand by me when i'm feeling down, and brighten up my day with their jokes and actions.

thanks to all others for your concern as well.

went for my medical today.. everything is okie.. except for my heart.. that explains why i get out of breath so easily when walking and talking.. and also hyper ventilates.. doctor will call me tmr.. to let me know the results.. doesn't seem too good.. but i'm just trying to think positive..

if it turns out well, good for me.. if not.. i'll be aimless and lost..

yap.. i changed my blog skin.. decide to change my perception of things.. and decide that although black is mysterious and cool, white is pure and class..

was so nervous for the last round of SQ interview today.. took like half an hour to bun my sickening hair that wasn't co-operating with me.. and the weather was so damn bloody hot.. i was sweating by the time i stepped out of my house..

reached there.. and there were ppl of the earlier timeslot there... some waiting for results.. some waiting for the interview.. the feeling was really.. panicky.. other interviews i'd went for was not so nerve-wrecking like this one..

went into the room, talked about myself, my family, my ex-job, future path, wad can be improved if i get in or not. i really.. literally showed sign of relief when i stepped out of the room..

when they told me i got in.. i was smiling to myself.. haha.. then filled up form for bank account.. and went home.. told a few ppl.. but news spread damn fast.. haha.. but i'd like to thank everyone for their blessings... i'll work hard.. =>

busy busy weekend.. worked morning shift for 4 days.. and then there's dinner with ailing.. fbma meeting and dinner at conrad.. mahjong session poly friends.. and finally get to rest today..

friday's FBMA meeting was a formal one.. everyone dressed in formal.. to take pic for our press kit.. haven got the full one.. but i have one that i take with different ppl..

that's my treasurer and my activities' assistant manager.. both are new year 3 students..

that's my HR manager and our vice president.. both from SHATEC..our activities' manager..our youth wing president..

and that's the FBMA president.. and my 'sugar daddy'.. haha..

btw, i have changed my name on my ic and passport.. look at the difference in the ic now and 5 yrs ago..
haha.. the difference: the size of the photo.. and the size of the face.. haha..

i went to the temple to ask about my interview this coming tuesday and about my back.. i'm not allowed to eat chicken and soft drinks for my back.. and they say i'll meet with a setback when i'm 59.. wow.. didn't thought i'll be living that long.. sigh..

today at work i'm like an extra.. they arrange for more staff just in case there are ppl who take mc or annual leave before the last day of work at CX.. i was just 'assisting' counter.. tagging bags.. walking around.. handling groups.. singing songs at counter.. dozing off at the counter.. waiting for time to pass.. buy breakfast for ppl.. go for short break.. but not too bad.. easy job for 70 odd dollars..

mahjong session was really a therapy.. although i lost 10 bucks.. but i thought the company was wad matters most and i really enjoyed myself last night.. we have decided to try and make it a weekly therapy.. haha..

my friend finally got herself a partner.. although it might be a little fast.. but i think it's the feeling that counts.. looking at how the guy is treating her, i'm happy to leave her in his hands.. sometimes i really admire her.. admire her courage to face her feelings.. and willing to give herself a chance.. now that my close friends are all attached.. i think i'll be spending a lot of my time alone le ba.. all busy with their partners.. but wadever it is.. i'm given my blessings to all.. =>
