back from london yesterday.. but first.. let me share about the happenings before my london trip..

KL turn on tues.. then on wed met pam and mich for lunch at chinatown.. before that, i had late breakfast with my family at our favourite bah kut teh at tanjong pagar.. love it.. then mom dropped us 3 at vivo before we went our separate ways...and then mich and i went to k at k-ster.. before making our way to raffles place to look for ailing.. met up with some of the htm ppl from first batch till now.. at the alumni gathering.. rather awkward.. cos all the happening lecturers were not around, and our batch ppl were just in our own corner.. in the end we left early, waited quite a while for the cab (cos of the new law bout taxis in CBD), and had our dinner at TM's fish and co... quite a mix of company.. but hey, we are all from HTM...

london on thursday, flt up was super light and v nice to work.. cos the pax were all happy... and so were we.. temperature according to captain was about 4 degrees.. and i dun need to make effort to achieve my cheap chill!! haha.. so cool to see the vapour from ur mouth whenever we talk.. dinner after checked in at this restaurant called bugis street.. and yes.. it sells singapore food. not that fantastic though. of course. nothing beats having singapore food in singapore...

the warm fireplace in the hotel.. it's real fire..

2nd day.. brunch at this hkg restaurant that the crew always goes.. walked all the way there.. having to pass through this superbly pretty park.. love the view and the feel there.. had the famous duck rice there.. and trust me. it is really nice..

the big bus of london!!according to shirley.. it's an artistic take..queen victoria!!
policewomen..
the iconic london phone booth..
after brunch is shopping time!! went to primark and H&M.. not really a shopping person, so just got myself a 15 pound worth topcoat.. can keep warm, just that it's 3/4 sleeve.. went to sightsee on my own.. took the tube (=MRT) on my own and it's the first time i'm on my own when i'm in overseas... nice feeling, not having to entertain anyone.. visited the big ben, london eye, and the disappointing london bridge.. pictures were taken about 3 plus, but the sun was already setting..cam-whoring in the tube.. alone..
the big ben is too tall..
but i manage to capture it with my good cam whoring skills!!
and here's the london eye.. the one featured on fantastic 4.. familiar??
and here's the disappointing london bridge..
mamma mia was my next stop.. went to watch with 2 other crew.. simple props.. but love the songs.. and i just love the whole musical feel.. 2nd musical i've watched..
by night, the temperature went down to minus 2 and i was like trembling.. cold.. but my crew were v nice.. bought wine and chips over to my room after i came back and with their company, i was not lonely for that night..

3rd day was standby day.. so after briefing we took a london cab (first time!!) to the same hkg restaurant for lunch.. told u it was nice.. and the london cab we see in singapore is really the london cab.. cool.. shopped a bit at marks and spencer and then back to hotel.. although it's standby day, the crew were damn daring.. drinking wine in my room!! chilled from about 3 plus till 9 plus at night..
back on the 4th day and touched down on the 5th day.. flt back.. full flt, and i had to work with ppl who wasn't putting in as much effort as the rest of the crew were.. my god. never ending call lights.. and walked till my feet got blisters.. and mind u, i was in sandals. didn't really get to have my meals onboard.. and in short, i was picked on and targeted throughout the flt, with never ending things to do even after landing. period.

rested in the afternoon before meeting tat ming and ailing for dinner.. ailing got emo and of course, i was affected.. but i cannot show it, one emo is better than 2 right.. watched game plan.. lovely show.. at some parts of the movie the lead reminds me of kai.. haha.. maybe cos of his build and actions..

received a msg from mich in the afternoon telling me she's going to beijing that night with her parents for her dad's condition, not knowing exactly when she'll be back.. wanted to send her off but she insisted that i shouldn't.. she called when she was in the transit.. and i cried when i got her call.. i guess i got phobia of close ones leaving me.. and plus the tinge of emo in me.. i just can't control it..

went to hard rock cafe to look for my london crew.. it was kumar's night.. very clubby.. and i conclude, i dun like that kinda place.. to chill is okie.. but then again, it might be a good thing that i dun like clubbing..

reached home about 3am.. and today, the day started off early.. picked sis, did marketing, and met bel at mac to satisfy our breakfast craving since perhaps a month ago.. and then went to CGH.. ming did his knee ops today and we went over to surprise him, and to give him moral support as well.. dun know why but i just felt like being there for him.. we were there in time to see him for 1 or 2 mins before he go for his ops.. and bel and i waited for about 3 hrs before he came back.. with a super big bandage on his knee.. to think he can bear the pain to go down to smoke. best. dunno wad else i can say or do.. got him this brick game thing to keep him entertained.. glad to see that he's okie.. he's discharged, resting at home, and i'm just praying he'll know how to take care of his wound and not overstrain his wadever muscle..

with those glasses.. do i look like my cousin?? haha..
i feel touched that someone is sharing her troubles with me.. i mean, thank you for trusting me. i've always wanted to share ur burden, but i dunno how to go about doing so..

listening to jay's new album.. he's sad songs.. the lyrics, the voice.. emo.. emo..
